Danse de la Mort
The Second Estate
Though Prince Vidal would like to project the Lancea et Sanctum, and the city, as a united front all serving the Kindred’s divine duty as he sees it, this simply is not the case. Vidal’s tyrannical suppression of other religions and covenants has made New Orleans firmly a Sanctified city, but it also means that his greatest rival for primacy, Antoine Savoy, also rests firmly among his own covenant.
To distinguish his faction from the Sanctified hardliners of Vidal’s Church Eternal Savoy has adopted the Invictus’ moniker for the Sanctified, The Second Estate. Savoy takes a much more moderate approach in regards towards those faiths and covenants that have suffered under Vidal’s leadership, garnering greater support outside of the covenant. Many of Savoy’s most ardent supporters are in fact members of other covenants, such as his Senechal Natasha Preston, and the young Peter LeBeaux who are both members of the Invictus.
